Is the shuffle truly random?

Yes. Fisher–Yates guarantees every ordering has equal probability. The tool uses Math.random() — sufficient for most uses like picking turn order or randomizing quiz questions.

Should I use it to pick a giveaway winner?

For a small giveaway it is fine. For contests with a real prize or regulator requirements, use the Random Number Generator (crypto-grade) and document the process.
